Ajay Devgn is back to what he specializes in doing in his upcoming film Drishyam — a serious part — in the wake of having tough feedback for his last release, Action Jackson.
In his recent interview:
What do you think turned out badly with Action Jackson?
When we began Action Jackson, I knew the film wouldn’t work. I don’t point the finger at Prabhu Deva for that. Our misfortune was that after we had set up the set and spoke with the crew to start shooting, we understood the story was like Dhoom 3. Prabhu attempted his best to patch up the script, yet regardless we continued with it as the makers were bringing about misfortunes and baring losses. It was an enthusiastic choice, however I wouldn’t need any maker to face such losses.
You are contributing a considerable measure of cash and time in Shivaay, which you will likewise be coordinating. It is safe to say that you are certain about it?
No one is ever totally certain, yet I trust in it. Shivaay is straightforward as a script, yet it plays out on a scale that hasn’t been endeavoured in Hindi movies some time recently.
We start the shoot one month from now. It’s an altogether different film with a ton of performing artists from abroad. We will be working in temperatures underneath 30 degree Celsius and in troublesome landscapes.
The film chiefs will start fixing for activity arrangements that we plan to shoot in January from September onwards. This year has recognized that multiplex groups of onlookers have developed in numbers and have additionally turn out to be all the more entreating.
I am upbeat about it. In any case, the test is to divert them in an alternate way. For the littler movies to work, you likewise require standard blockbusters. Take a gander at an Iron Man film or the Avengers — they are a totally diverse ordeal. With Shivaay, I need to work towards something to that effect — a standard performer that goes past four melodies, some comic drama and sentiment.
