Katie Holmes is divorcing Tom Cruise. The power couple are married for over five years and everything was cool until Friday when Katie shocked everyone by announcing her decision to split from Tom.

But what really went wrong?

According to TMZ, it is Tom Cruise’s strong belies in Scientology .

The report said that Katie “was afraid that their daughter, Suri, who is now 6, would get pulled into the religion that caused her to take action.”

Earlier when the two were marriage religion appeared to matter the least. Could there be something else in the couple’s lives that is set to break up the lovely couple. It does appears to be there as a matter of fact. When Katie married Tom, she never really cared about Scientology! But, like they say in Hollywood, nothing is news until we hear from the horse’s mouth.

Can we sympathize with Katie or Tom right now? No, not yet. There are too many questions that still needs to be answered. Some of these maybe, what does Scientology really do to kids and their lives?
