The heart of a brain dead hyderabadi boy has been transplanted to a Pakistani boy on Tuesday. The heart of a Hyderabadi boy who has become brain dead in an accident. The boy was 12 years old and his name was Vaishnav. He has been admitted to global hospital in Hyderabad.

His heart has been transplanted to a 10 year old boy who is a Pakistani origin who is living in Dubai at Frontier Lifeline Hospital on Tuesday.
Chairman and CEO of the hospital K.M Cherian, according to him the teenager had been admitted almost a month ago. He had dilated cardiomyopathy, a condition in which the heart muscles balloon out and become enlarged and so, cannot pump efficiently.
The boy who donated the heart was Vaishnav who was 12 years old has been injured in a road accident, along with three other members of his family near Ramoji film city. Then he had been admitted in the global hospital Hyderabad.
The police of Hyderabad created a green corridor from the hospital to shamshabad international airport to enable quick and easy transport of the donor heart. Officials from state-run organ donation programme jeevandan said that the donor heart reached Shamshabad in just over 35 minutes.
Dr. Cherian said that they got back to Chennai at 4.30 p.m. and the heart was brought from airport to hospital in less than 20 minutes. According to the official of Tamil Nadu cadaver transplant programme, none of the cardiac transplant centers in Chennai had an Indian patient who was a suitable recipient for the heart.
Also said that they asked for Telangana govt to check with other neighbouring states including Kerala and Karnataka to make sure there was no Indian patient in the vicinity who could have received it. After completing all formalities heart transplantation has been done.
Kidney and liver of Vaishnav were also harvested and sent to various hospitals for transplantation for the needy.
