The Kengeri police have arrested a 30-year-old Software Engineer for attempting to run a car on two beat constables in an drunk state on Kommaghatta Main Road in Kengeri on Saturday. Constables Anil Kumar and Andani, joined to Kengeri police headquarters, were left with broke hands and legs in the mishap and have been admitted to a private Hospital. They are said to be out of threat.

Veerabhandra has been arrested under area 337 (Causing hurt by act imperilling life or individual security of others) segment 227 (Rash and careless driving) and has been remanded to legal custody.
