Aizawl (mizonews.net): Mizoram governor Vakkom Purushothaman today felicitated students who make it to the top in the list in HSLC and stream toppers in HSSLC examination held this year at his official bungalow by throwing a tea party.

The successful students were led by leaders from Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP), an umbrella body of students organization in Mizoram and officials from school education department.

The governor said that it was because of their hard work and toils these students were able to come this far and expressed hope that they would make the state proud in the future. Knowing that they were priceless jewel of the state, he advised them to work and take steps carefully for better tomorrow.

“As Mizoram is one of the most highest literate state in India, students should go outside for jobs and further studies like most of the north eastern states did,” the governor said.

At today’s function, HSLC Topper C. Laldintluangi; HSSLC Arts Stream R. Lalrinmawii; Science Stream Sujata Sharma; Vocational Stream Laltlanmawii were felicitated by the governor. K. Lal Nghinglova, IAS also present at today’s function.
