The main opposition youth wing said the cooking gas crisis have increased each day since the Congress party came to power in the state.
“The (cooking) gas crisis comes along whenever the Congress comes to power in Mizoram,” they said in a statement.
They accused the chief minister and Supply Minister H.Rohluna for making “many lame excuses” saying the “the real reason was because of their inaction towards this problems.”
“Congress government should wake up and begin distribution of free ‘Hawla Gas’,” they said.
Meanwhile, refuting the allegation made by the MNYF, the Mizoram Pradesh Youth Congress Committee said that the MNF must have “forgotten what happened during MNF government”.
Slamming the ‘Hawla Gas’ distribution by MNYF, the party said during the MNF rule “people were making lines near gas agencies under rains and the sun and sometimes all through the night.”
