Aizawl (mizonews.net): As part of celebrations over the World to mark the International Olympic Day an “Olympic Day Run”was also held here in the city on June 23, a statement released by the government said.

Mizoram State Olympic Association organised the event at three ends from Aizawl city one from Chanmari and one from Sikulpuikawn and another one from Vaivakawn during which some 2500 runners participated.

President of Mizoram State Olympic and Chief Minister Lalthanhawla was the chief guest. Many of his cabinet colleagues also attended the event.
