Aizawl (mizonews.net): The 3rd State Level Science Drama Competition, under the aegis of Science Promotion Wing, SCERT, was held at Chanmari YMA Hall yesterday and the Staines’ Memorial High School students were adjudged winner.

The school will represent Mizoram at the Eastern India Science Competition to be held on July 25, at Birla Industrial & Technological Museum in Kolkata.

The theme of this year’s competition was “Science & Society.”

The competition organised for high school students saw students from Government R.M High School, Goverment Chaltlang High School, St. Paul’s High School, Staines Memorial High School and Aghatosh High School competing in various categories.

The Best Actor award went to Anthony Vansangpuia; Best Script to V.L. Dinpuia of Government R.M. High School while the Best Director award was given to Irene Lalrinmawii of the Staines Memorial School.

The event was graced by SCERT director Malsawmthangi and other officials.
