Two arrested with arms by Mizoram Police
Aizawl (mizonews.net): Two pistols have been seized by the Mizoram Police from two people when they raided Ngaizel with the Assam Rifles on Saturday last.
“One .22 PPK Walther Pistol with a magazine and .32 Colt 6 were recovered from TBC Ralliana of Bungkawn Vengthar, Aizawl and R. Lalhnuna of Republic Vety Mual while they were trying to sell them,” police said.
A case has been registered against the two arrested people under the Arms Act.
Commenting on the development, the Congress Youth unit alleged that MNF Gen. Secy was “involved in the arms racket”, adding that “MNF has inherited the arms culture”.
