Aizawl (mizonews.net): Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla had a meeting with some Union ministers after attending the oath-taking ceremony of President Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi yesterday.

The Chief Minister had a discussion with Union Tourism Minister Subodh Kant Sahay about the proposed Golf Course at Thenzawl, which the minister assured him that he will look into it.

Lal Thanhawla also met Health Minister Gulam Nabi Azad and discussed with him about MBBS seats allotment to the state.

He also met Punjab Chief Minister Surjit Singh Barnala and reminded the latter to probe into the death of Captian Melody Lalengmawii recently. Barnala has promised to do accordingly.

Chief Minister also met Pawan Hans Chief Managing Director and informed him of the plan to start Helicopter service before August 15 in Mizoram.

The Chief Minister will meet Defence Minister A.K. Anthony at 10 P.M. tonight, and will discuss about helicopter service in Mizoram.
