Aizawl (mizonews.net): Mizoram Youth Commission Chairman Hmingdailova Khiangte has said that it is now “mandatory for students to secure good marks” to face stiff competition.

Khiangte said this during a felicitation programme of students of three institutions- Lungdai Higher Secondary School, Govt. Lungdai High School and Snow White School in the academic session 2011-2012.

“Mere pass result is not enough, but it is mandatory now to secure good marks for pursuing higher studies in all the colleges both within and outside Mizoram. For that, not only the students but the parents also have their tasks, and even village leaders also have their responsibility in this regard,” Khiangte said.

As constituency MLA and Mizoram Youth Commission Chairman, the Chief Guest also presented a computer to the three institutions.
