Aizawl (mizonews.net): Union Ministry of Tourism and Assam State Government will jointly orgainse the first ever International Mart in the region at Guwahati from 18th – 20th January and Mizoram will be taking part in it.

Some of the participating states are West Bengal, Sikkim, all the North Eastern States, besides more than 200 delegates from tour operators, travel agents and prominent persons in tourism from Europe, SAARC and ASEAN countries.

From Mizoram, Tourism Minister S.Hiato, Tourism Secretary Chetan B.Sanghi and with Tourism Director, 7 Officers and 50 members of Mizo Cultural Organisation will attend the event.

Besides, as many as tour operators and hotel owners from Aizawl are expected be present.

From Central Government, Tourism Minister and Secretary will lead the team and just after the event, the foreign delegate will proceed on for a FAM Tour to the states of their choice.
