Aizawl (mizonews.net): Mizoram Joint C.E.O H.Lalengmawia today held meeting with government officials at his office here in the wake of the upcoming Presidential Election on July 19.

Sources said discussions were held on how to conduct a free and fair election and what necessary arrangements were need with regard to security.

As per schedule, election materials will arrive in Mizoram on July 16 after which video camera will cover all the activities from Lengpui Airport to the strong room.

The Election Observer for Mizoram, Joint Secretary of Finance Ministry will arrive on July 17.

Meanwhile, the DIPR is making all necessary arrangements for the 14 people who would be on duty on the day of election.
