Aizawl (mizonews.net): Mizoram government said that it was taking steps to ease the cooking gas crisis in the state.
Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Minister H. Rohluna yesterday met Indian Oil Corporation C Ltd. Sr. Area Manager L.K. Doley at his office and asked him to take steps to address the issue.
Rohluna and Doley discussed steps needed to overcome the crisis during which the minister asked him to make arrangement for regular supply.
Rohluna also asked the IOC manager to take steps at the earliest so as to overcome the crisis due to backlog, besides asking him to do the needful regarding opening up of RGGLV Gas Agencies in rural areas. He aslo took up the Mualkhang Gas Bottling Plant issue with the official.
” The crisis in LPG is Gas will be solved soon andnecessary steps are being taken to provide adequate supply of Gas for Mizoram,” Doley said.
