Aizawl (mizonews.net): Mizoram Excise and Narcotics worth over 62 lakh have been seized from the Jonathan Zothanmawia ( 26) S/o Chuangkima ( L) , Saron veng ; Steven Tluangkima ( 34) S/o Chuangkima (L) , Saron veng , David Zachunga ( 28) S/o Lalhmingthanga ( L) on August 18.

According to reports, the three accused were brought the drugs from Delhi RZA-61 , Sitapuri Part-I by flight and use two taxis from Lengpui Airport.

When the officials asked them to stop their  taxi at Mining Check gate at Vaivakawn they sped off but were caught at Hunthar veng.

The cost of this aforesaid drugs worth Rs.62,39,810 in local market.

A case has been registered against the three accused .Besides these Excise and Narcotics Department arrested as many as 9 people from Champhai district and seized 960,00,000 tablets.
