Aizawl (mizonews.net): Lalhmingmawia Ralte, Lecturer, Govt. Republic Higher Secondary School and C. Biaknghinglova, Headmaster, Ramhlun North P/S will receive the National Award for Meritorious and Outstanding Teacher on September 5, (Teacher’s Day) in New Delhi from President Pranab Mukherjee.
Lalhmingmawia Ralte, Son of Nuchhûngi(L ) and R. Thangluaia, was born in North Serzâwn and later his family shifted to Darlawn. He has two brothers and four sisters. Presently he resides at Ramthar Veng, Aizawl with his family. He worked as a teacher from April 8, 1993 at Country Boarding English Medium School, and was the first Headmaster of Govt. Bethlehem Vêngthlang M/S II, and when the school was upgraded on June 25, 1996 to Higher Secondary, he continued to work as Lecturer. Since Augugt 8, 2008, he began teaching at Govt. Republic Higher Secondary School, and in that year he received three Awards— Broad Outlook Learner Teacher Award (District Level); Broad Outlook Learner Teacher Award (State Level) and Long Service Decoration Award.
On August 15, 2011 last year, he had also received the State Award to Meritorious and Outstanding Teacher from Mizoram Chief Minister Pu Lal Thanhawla. He had so far written 8 books, 150 articles, 50 sermons, about 40 songs and 4 dramas. He had also represented India in international level programme on more than 10 times.
C. Biaknghinglova was born on January 1, 1959 Champhai District, between Thanseia(L) and Tialchuaii(L). He has 5 brothers and 2 sisters. On May 11, 1976 he was married to Hrangmani, with whom he had 3 sons and 1 daughter. Since March 1, 1981 he served as a teacher.
On October 4, 1991 he was upgraded to the post of Headmaster. He taught at Vanbawng P/S I, Ramhlun P/S IV, Ramthar P/S III, N.Chaltlang P/S, Armed Veng P/S IV, Edenthar P/S, Ramhlun P/S I, and now he teach at Ramhlun North P/S. He and his family resides presently at Ramhlun North, Aizawl. He had received the State Award in 2005 (2.10.2005) from A.R. Kohli, Governor of Mizoram. He is present President of Mizoram Primary Teachers Association.
