New Delhi (Mizo News): Hmar FC, the defending champion of the North-East Tamchon Football Tournament (NETFT), has been registered as an all-India football club.
“We are proud to announce that we are now an all-India registered football club vide Registration No. S/ND/676/2015 dated 28 July 2015,” the club said in a statement.
The popular football club which was constituted in 2007 is also planning to take part in major football tournaments.
“As we prepare to defend our NETFT title, Hmar FC is set to play a bigger role in the Indian football field. We also look forward to providing a platform for talented sportsmen from the North-East,” the club added.
The club was co-sponsored by Indian Super League team Delhi Dynamos in 2014.
