Samsung after launching its new Galaxy A8 smartphone in China last month has now launched the device in India. Samsung Galaxy A8 is claimed to be the thinnest smartphone from the company ever. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 32,500.

The handset will be available starting from today in different colour variants black, white, and gold. The most catchy thing about this all-metal smartphone is its form factor which makes the lightest smartphone ever to come from the company.
Speaking about the specs of the device, it sports a 5.7-inch full-HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 5430 processor rather than the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor which is used in the China variant.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 is coupled with 2GB RAM. The device also includes an in-built storage of 32GB which is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based smartphone runs TouchWiz UI on top.
The smartphone boasts of a whopping 16MP rear camera. It also features a 5MP front facing camera. The device is backed by a 3,050mAh battery. The connectivity options bundled with the Samsung Galaxy A8 are Bluetooth 4.1, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Glonass, and LTE support. The device also supports 4G. The Galaxy A* also features a fingerprint scanner.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 will be giving competition to the already existing slim smartphones in the market – 4.75mm Vivo X5 Max, 4.85mm Oppo R5 and 5.1mm Gionee Elife S5.1.with this new features samsung is trying to be superior of all the smart phones.
